While Calculating the Value of Stacked Stone Panels, Don’t Stop At Dollars

While Calculating the Value of Stacked Stone Panels, Don’t Stop At Dollars  Stacked Stone Panels: Making an informed decision on a purchase is predicated upon having all of the information. If you want to figure out it something is a profitable decision or not, you need to add up the expenses and benefits and compare the two. But this is not always as easy as it sounds. When it comes to something like the number of dollars spent, you can count those rather easily. You can tally up the number of hours spent doing something. But assigning value to them is a harder thing. And this is certainly the case with abstract concepts, like time, effort, and enjoyment. When you are deciding whether or not to purchase faux stone panels for your house, business, or garage, add up all of the elements beyond just the dollars that you spend on the siding, itself. This is...
A faux brick veneer

A faux brick veneer would look great in a living room.

A faux brick veneer would look great in a living room.  Faux brick veneer: I am not sure if stacked stone veneers belong inside, but I think that a faux brick veneer would look great in a living room.  The reason why I say that is because I love the look of exposed brick because it can really make a room feel very warm and inviting. However, many of the buildings that were built many years ago do not have brick as part of the construction.  As a result, it would be great to be able to install a faux brick veneer into the room to make it look like an authentic brick wall.  Nonetheless, I am not sure if that is possible, so I would be hesitant to include that in there.Still, there is a lot of opportunity for people to make their homes and businesses looking great with the simple addition.  I have never...

Stacked Stone Veneer changed how my house feels

Stacked Stone Veneer changed how my house feels  Stacked Stone Veneer: I have always been someone that needs to have a project.  I built my own house back in the 70s and I haven’t stopped messing around with it since then.  I recently read an article about stone and brick houses standing up to wild fire better than wood houses.  I guess it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.I live in the mountains of Colorado, so there is always the threat of wildfire.  I put a metal roof on my house several years ago because I thought that it would protect against fire, because I liked the look, and because I needed a project.  Those are the three reasons why I decided to put a stacked stone veneer around my house last fall too.I had considered doing real stone instead of the veneer, but there were several reason why...

My parents new faux stacked stone veneer makes their home look like a castle

There have been a lot of changes to the Black Forest subdivision since I left there about a decade ago.  Most of those changes stem from the wild fires that have devastated the area over the last couple of summers.  All lot of the houses that I remember from my youth have burned down.  So much of the forest itself has burned down.  The black toothpicks and black charred ground has made the name “Black Forest,” somehow more fitting. As a result of the fires, many of the home owners, including my parents have searched for ways to mitigate the dangers of living in such a dangerously fire prone area.  All the houses seem to be in a state of remodel as they add more fire proof features such as metal roofs, stacked stone veneer, and complex sprinkler systems.  The home owners have also taken the warnings of the experts that...
